    png color/edge corruption

    Hey everybody,

I noticed that running high levels of reds from illustrator put in photoshop and saved as png-24 turn to garbage upon viewing in the KM browser. However, the png image looks fine in the IE browswer when opened up for viewing.

I ran 0,50,50,0 from illustrator to photoshop to png-24 and it was fine, I also noticed that most other color combinations work okay.

It appears to manifest itself non-right angle edges from illustrator to ps to png-24. The outcome is like marbling.

So, its happens under high color intensity and/or non-linear edges. My testing appears to confirm it. But, I am not sure if it is either or both.

    Workarounds?

    dl

I don't understand, if they look fine in IE, then what's the problem?

Has nothing to do with KoolMoves.
Try to turn off the "Automatic Image Resizing" (Tools/Internet Options/Advanced).
The "Image Resizing" doesn't work correctly on 8 bit images (BMP,PNG or GIF).
