First of all you need to know the BASICS.

Important thing to remember,, Learn to walk before trying to run. The program is only as good as the people who use it so study it and learn to walk. We'll look forward to watching you run.Cheers and welcome

This is a game from a tutorial that was on the web a couple of years ago. It has some sloopy code (since I was changing it) and I have removed all the sounds. I can email you the complete version since I cannot ftp today for some reason.

Then gusmus and necromanthus were correct in you knowledge of flash. You need to learn the basics. To be honest, I am still learning and always will be.

One place to start after you learn some basic scripting is

    http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Games...urce/more3.php

This flash mx but is the same in use.

2 books that I recomend are ActionScript, The definitive guide
    isbn 1-56592-852-0

Macromedia Flash MX actionscript for fun and games
    isbn 0-7897-2799-4

They are on ebay for about 10 US dollars.

I do have some games that you can have if you let me know what you are looking for. That way you can play around with them and change them to your desire.

I can suggest the runner.fun file at www.necromanthus.com web site, listed under koolmoves. This has to be one of the best examples of scripting to make something useful.

This funfile is for arrow keys. Please sit down with a starsmucks coffee and at least TRY to understand what is going on. If you do not then no one will help you. Do some reading. Then read again. Then read one more time. Then read again. Go use the bathroom. Then read some more. Then drink a beer (always helped me). Then read something more. Go to sleep. The next day after work read some more. It will not come overnight. If it did, there would be no need for a forum or even flash. There is a steep but not impossible learning curve.
