please check & critique my simple & personal website

Theres nothing fancy to this site yet, i just wanted some feedback on it before i add too much more. any comments are welcome, good or bad, suggestions on anything you would like to see on the site would also be good.

It seems to be going in an okay direction but just a couple of problems right now that I'm sure you'll fix.

- The photo in the background kind of intrudes on the text, maybe you could try and increase the opacity of the text 'box'.

- Red fonts aren't really my favourite, and they don't work that great with the blue background.

- I really wouldn't go and post my date of birth, or anybody's on it; this is extremely private information and can be used for fraud, trust me, it's happened to my family. If you really want it, trim it down to just the day and month.

- The dark black border gives the site a very constricted feel.

Otherwise, coming along fine - but please take a look at the date of births!
