    CVs are Control Vertices, the nodes which define a vector shape.

    see maybe Im being a dumb yank here but i couldve sworn a CV was a "resume" in the UK something u fill out and send to prosepective employers

    Actually, I'm not a native of MD...I was born and raised in OK - spent 8 yrs in Louisiana, too......I actually thought of CV joints first (its a car part)...but you're still a loon

    CV - curriculum vitae like HTTP403 says. Same thing as a portfolio or resume, just an old language (Latin) still in use.
