    Flash 8 has file upload

    Looking through the testers site of demos there are 4 file upload examples......COOL.

    Wow finaly there is no more reason to do site manager in HTML. It's about time have been sending this request since flash 5.

    Yeah basicly when a site is dynamic you need to do a site manager for the client to go to to update his website .

    File uploading is without a doubt one of the few things that keeps me from doing all Flash sites. It'll be nice someday for the software to be a catch-all, but I doubt it ... I always thought it was kind of funny flash could handle dynamic information and transferring info from servers and what not, but you couldn't use it to upload a file.

    Usually call them a content managment system when Im building them......as for the file upload this is generally refered to as a browse function, HEY thats whats its called in flash 8.

    So how exactly does the file upload work? I see the example pops up the windows browse for dil dialog(nice!) but what actually happens when you select a file?
