Photoshop idea
With all those new features a really good image editor should be possible to make, pixel editing, layers and blends, filters, brightness/color adjustment, vectors, text tool etc. Not extreme advanced/fast but quite good for most of things. Only thing that is little bit special, is the saving, which have to be done external.
Isn't that a very big step forward and cool thing?

Amongst most other things in this release I like the long overdue getPixel feature for the eye dropper tool
This release sounds very promising!

If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made of meat?
If Vegetarians like animals so much, why do they eat all their food?

This release is like a revolution. Everything done in Flash before this version is already obsolete.
I misunderstood your post at first, but it made me think of something. I'm wondering how later versions of FW or PS will export to Flash. It would be nice if now things such as blur, glow, dropshadow, ect. could be preserved on vector data+actionscript when imported into Flash. It seems especially doable with FW's powerful live effects system. And what a relief, to not have to flatten everything!
In not to long we're going to be saying to the youngins: "I remember back when Flash didn't have blending modes, or even filters!"
