    Question Components and BitmapData

    Hi:

As soon as I add any component to a movie working fine with BitmapData, it starts to draw outside the associated MC. Any advice?

    Windows 2000, IE 6, Flash MX 2004

    TIA,

    David P.

I would think Actionscript forum. Flash MX 2004 is Flash Player 7.

I don't understand your question at all.

    Components and BitmapData

You can publish for player 8 using Flash MX 2004 IDE just duplicating and modifying the publish profile (http://www.nuran.org/, http://www.luminicbox.com/blog/).

I created 2 or 3 little and simple examples using the BitmapData class and they work fine until I add any component (ComboBox, MediaController) to the movie. When I do it, the movie begins drawing outside the BitmapData instance defined region.

I'll give a try in AS forum. Thanks for your time,

    David P.
