    Question rtl support?

    Has anybody come accross anything from Macromedia about whether they are including better support for right-to-left languages?

    I am hoping that the Flash 8 player has at least some improvement in rtl support.

    It is hard enough for a non arabic speaker to develop an arabic language comapatable application, but the way Flash currently handles it makes me want to cry and bash my head against the wall!

    There is nothing to address rtl in this release.

    I didn't think so, I've not seen anything about it.

    I was hoping someone might have some insider info that they were on the verge of doing this, but I don't even think it's on their adgenda, seems a shame really but I suppose rtl support is more complex than it first sounds so I don't begrudge Macromedia spending their time improving Flash elsewhere. Saying that, MM is lagging behind on this issue, maybe Adobe will kick them into shape now they pay the wages
