Your question tells me you don't know actionscript or php. Studies these and then you'll only be limited to what these languages offer.

Sorry for long delay in answering.
The problem is not if I know ActionScript but if Koolmoves uses ActionScript as it is in Flash.
Other products uses an intermediate language like 3D Flash Animator, ******* SWF Quicker and others, but not ActionScript as in FLASH per se. Then the question was about if Koolmoves does.

    Thanks

KoolMoves uses Flash action script with a few exceptions but not AS2.

Then the answer is: NO. Koolmoves cannot connect to a Web Service.

I don't know if that is true. The full compliment of Flash 6,7,8 functionality is available. It is my understanding that AS2 doesn't expand functionality - it only provides a typed programming style.

Alfonso, can you tell me why it isn't possible according to you ?

As far as I know Flash MX 2004 comes with prewritten actionscript classes to use web services and no, you won't find these classes in KoolMoves so there's no easy way to do it but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

    Not quite true !
If you're talking about the Web Services Panel, it's true: KoolMoves doesn't have such a panel.

If you're talking about WebServiceConnector component, this is available in MM Flash MX 2004 Professional only !
But ANY of those AS routines can be rebuilded (or emulated) using KoolMoves.
Of course, this is not for beginners ...

Okay. Thank you for the answer. I was searching for a tool that could do it.

I taked a look at: ******* SWF Quicker, 3d flash animator (excellent but poor support), swishmax, and others.

I have experience in Web services for .NET but need the client to accept that. I know I don't have experience with Koolmoves in order to do the link to the web service, but I have some experience with FLASH MX 2004. I will investigate this more in depth.

    Thank you for the answers.
