    What happened to spyware?

    I just noticed,

    a while back i was etting so annoyed with spyware i really was just considering just not using the internet.

    Well now i dont use anything and im fine. Where did all the spyware go and why was it so bad at one point??

    You're not using the internet, hence, you aren't getting spyware.

    It's just on a larger scale now I think, big programs like itunes and XP itself collect personal data. You're right though, I haven't really seen much of it lately. Probably because there is such a huge backlash against companies when they use any type of spyware.

    If you do get spyware again, then use "Spywaredoctor"-its the best i used in years.

    sp2 seemed to have stopped a lot of spyware in IE for me.
