    The alpha video has an extra 8 bit greyscale mask of every frame. Its hard to give a percentage because that would vary based on audio quality, frame rate and video resolution. Uncompressed, a 10 second 320X240 video at 27 FPS clip would have an additional 76,800 Bytes per frame so that would be 20,736,000 Bytes(or roughly 20.25 MB) added for the alpha mask. But that would be uncompressed which obviously is not common. So.... basically my answer doesn't help you at all. Sorry.
