I think we can all stop panicking and be safe in the fact that the these gaming gods know what they are doing, if Miyamoto says its good thats good enough for me.

BTW they are including 'normal' controllers to be used for 'normal' games like the old nintendo titles so theres no need to fret, the new controllers are there for use with special games.

    I for one cant wait.

Thats excactly what the controller will be good for. You can point the controller at an enemy and fire.

would be cool (Say in a game like Doom3) you point the remote at the screen and it acts like the flash light, strap on a custom made laser pointer, press the A button, flash light swaps to gun and your set for some killin baby. Now thats some sweet gameplay

......IT'S NOT WORKING!.........you accidently pressed video........NO!.........AH! CHANNEL RECALL!!!....

I wanted a rev too. Not if thats the controller. the interaction where you do the motions looks awsome but not for regular use.

You can just turn the controller so its sideways and use it like the old nintendo controller, just think of it like a dancefloor mat, you use it for the funky titles.

Seriously this is going to kick ass, it knows where you are in relation to the screena and what angle you are pointing at so you can have a time crisis game where they actually shoot in your direction and you have to dodge, plus it means the game view could rotate and scroll to your actual relative position so you will actually have to manouvre yourself behind objects to protect yourself and have to move around and shoot around obstacles, basically it means it will take your actual angle and trajectory relative to the game screen and when you shoot it will send the bullet in the angle you fired, if that doesnt get you excited then I really dont not what would.

Having said that I will buy a PS3 also, just for Pro Evo.

If Lucas turns in here, I can already imagine saber fights, a new genere of first person fighting...would look cool! Also I can see first person shooters redefined gameplay wise.

The only thing I would find hard to imagine about "swordfighting" , which would be awesome, if you "swing" the controller, and hit something in the game, you won't know where your controller should've stopped.
