I took a liking to C and D. D looks great technically, but C is just plain beautiful, let alone technically excellent.

    Great work to all!

C and D stand out, not just because of the technical and visual quality but they also carry the best message.

    Well done folks!

I'm doing Old English at uni and I came across yr name in my glossary:

    ondrædan VII be afraid, dread

Another cool one (from Beowulf) is sceadugenga, or 'walker in darkness'.
And now I/Foam to wheat, a glitter of seas./The child's cry//Melts in the wall./And I/Am the arrow,//The dew that flies/Suicidal, at one with the drive/Into the red//Eye, the cauldron of morning.

No ... thank you're brother for suggesting that ctranter and I team up. Looks like you've met your match ... muahhahahahahahah!

Btw, when are we going to announce the theme for round 2 and tally up the score thus far? Also, I'm all for taking the voting to the arena. Just nice to keep it all in one place.

we'll have to see about that.

Anyway, voting on round 2 theme ends in 2 hours. We'll give the arena a shot next round for the voting, I wasn't sure if we'd get enough activity outside of the teams themselves there, but we'll see.

You could always just post a friendly reminder over here with a link to the thread in the arena ... or would that constitute double posting? I believe it was done for past arena competitions, the tournament comes to mind.
