    Should I get it?

I really need a new hard drive. I have had really bad times with Maxor and WD. Any opinions on Seagate?

    Seagate? Barracuda?

Click "Add to Cart" and then "Check out" ASAP.
Unless of course you can get a better deal on one.

They're actually surprisingly fast despite non-overwhelming specs. Also, Seagate drives have a 5 year warranty. This is proof that they believe in the reliability of their drives.

I have no experience of the new huuuuuge drives but if they are anything like that 180/200gb drives, get it!

Damn! I need more drives. I was quite proud of my 1.6 TB set of hard drives of various brands a few months ago.

I (heart) Seagate drives. Only manufacturer with a 5 yr bumper to bumper warranty. Since losing a few Maxtors and WDs to "oldness", I've used nothing but Seagates.

Oh, so you actually have a reason for using 2 TB. An awesome reason at that. Hmmm... Avid...

I'm late as hell to this... but hell yes. Get it... and send me one too because I'm running out of room on my firewire drive attached to my Mac. Only 100gb left and I have a full backup to do here shortly before I totally wipe my hard drive to do an upgrade to OSX Tiger.

    Held out this long...

Yeah, Seagate's a good brand. Never had a problem with the drive, but then again, my only Seagate is 500mb, and in a 286. That's a good price, but if you would have checked your Office Max / Depot / Staples / Circuit City flyer this weekend, I'm sure you would have found a good deal.
