    BOO! AprilFool's Jokes HELP

I am creating a "virus" which scares people using flash, but i faced a problem, the animation jumps into a fake "setup" on start and become fullscreen, the problem is to stop the user to stop the programme in anyway, (i will let them close it after the shock) but someone will just press alt-ctrl-delete to terminate the programme, or press the windows icon to get the start menu up and terminate the programme by right clicking and close, so i need to lock all keys...

HOW DO U LOCK ALL KEYS?????

    Thanks.
    by the way, BOO!!!

Since ctrl-alt-delete is a windows command, I don't think you can override it in flash, or hundreds of people would have a computer that doesn't work because of mean people. But, maybe you can, I'm not sure.

If you do that, it's illegal, considered a virus, hacking, and irreversable, unless you personally have access to the person's computer to change the value. So, I wouldn't go that route.

    Hey Tongxn

Heres an idea to disable those kind of keys. It might be a bit sketchy but it might work

What you could do is when the user pushes the Delete button, make it gotoandstop the same frame. That way, when they push the delete button when trying to open the task manager, its cancelled by the gotoandstop.

I really dont know if that would work but its worth a shot

Hey, look in this thread for more help on locking keys:

I would make your movie 1024*768
and if you really want to make a good prank program, use something like SWF Studio. If you use the trial version, your projector is fully functional but only lasts one day...which is all you need it for if it is for April Fool's Day...

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.
