    midnight tornado

    At least one tornado ripped through southern Indiana near Evansville before dawn Sunday, killing at least 22 people and injuring about 230 in the deadliest day of twisters in more than seven years.

    The National Weather Service had issued warnings for the area about 30 minutes before the tornado struck, but many people were asleep and not aware of them.

    Bennett said the county set off tornado warning sirens about 10 minutes before the storm slammed the area.
    A bit past tornado season too. Left that mobile home park in shreds.

    If you live in tornado alley, the secret to not getting eaten by midnight tornados is to live underground, like worms.

    I'm safe and sound. Well out of the way of the tornado, but we were without power for about 12 hours. The only street in our neighborhood that was out so I'm guessing we were last on their long list of repairs.

    a couple years ago they extended the tornadoe season a bit....to include all of october....Maybe now they will include all of november too....heh...
