I don't have time to set-up a blog because I post here.

well, i have a blog about flash (used to be about flash), because once i translated a few articles from gskinner and published them there. Suddenly it got kinda known in the latin flash community, so I felt the need to keep going. Actually it feels good from time to time when someone writes a comment telling you your site is a good resource
The other blog is for perverts who like pretty girls. Basically I maintain that one for traffic. Some day, one of my blogs will make 1000 dollars a day

I love my blog.
Time shifts in and out right now I'm out of time to actually write.
People actually read my blog. I got a job because of my blog.
My blog is a great way to store my responses from help threads.
Meaning I don't have to start from scratch responding from the same
post over and over. It doubles as a tute area.
My blog is recieved well by those who visit. I enjoy well written blogs by others It's a wonderful way to vent my opinions about issues that concern both myself and my readers.
Blogging requires effort moreso then simply replying to a post.
Blog articles are permanent. Unlike threads which can be buried deep never
to be seen from again.
Blogging is a wonderful way to develop/sharpen ones writing skills.
I just wish I could have recovered all my aricles from my old portal/cms
so they would have been preserved in my blog.

up to my .as in code
Depends on why you blog. I began blogging when I was building an integrated news system/backend feed/blog reader and along the way found I enjoy it.
Frets feed was one of the defaults while I was building it (still is for the opensource) so I'm a big fan of his feed. Granted there are a ton of bogus blogs or better off not being blog blogs but places like Moock, Chambers, Skinner and others always have something worth reading in theirs. I guess blogging is like anything else...you either like it or hate it.
