Future Flash
If/When flash put on PSP what would you guys do [differently]?
I would port a lightwight version of my flashcom app into it so that I can talk video chat with my friends.
If flash player 8.5 ever comes out, I would have fun building a Skype clone using SIP standards along with some VNC.... ahh the possibilities.

A full-blown player on the PSP would be interesting, but unlikely. I don't think Sony would be happy with anyone being able to make games, no matter how primative, that can be played on the console without them getting a cut.

It's for mobile device in general, and yes, it's very very limited. Mainly because the browsers in phones and PDA's are very very limited.
PSP is a grey area, and would require Sony's input. Don't know if this is still the case, but pre Flash-Lite each device maker was responsible for developing a Flash Player from the SDK that was compatible on the chip used in their device, MM didn't want to get involved in building and managing a player for every possible device.
There's no incentive to do one for the PSP, and I don't think they even could, without Sony's blessing or input.

with the adobe+macromedia thing, it seems to me that flash has a very good chance of becoming the interface medium of choice for a lot more than web-sites, slide-shows, kiosks and cell phones.
i'll probably be programming an interface for a washing machine by next year!

It's bad enough I have to put up with that crap at work. If my washer gives me that error I'm likely to take a sledgehammer to it.
Flash UI for appliances: bad idea.

Yeah, I don't want a 30 second intro with crappy techno music, words flying by, and no skip intro button every time I want to use my microwave.

You can make flash games for the pocket pc.
http://www.macromedia.com/software/f...etpc/2002.html
Buy up a bunch of cheap pda's and make new game controler style cases for them.
Could this be marketed legally?
If anyone steals this idea and sells it...
Am i allowed to say that i would stab someone?
