PDA applications - where to begin?

    Hey everyone,

Imagine someone asked you to create a PDA application using Visual Studio.Net.

The thing is you dont have any knowledge on how to do so because you have never attempted anything like this. Fortunatly for you , you can get help from someone nearby who knows all there is about .NET

But the problem is, niether of you know anything about making PDA applications ...

Well Im in that situation and I would just like to know if there is any good tutorials, or places for new people like me to go to learn the basics and concepts of making it

    Thanks alot

[EDIT : Yes I know I spelt the title wrong ]

Hey thanks Ill look into it

As for the emote, I was just curious how you wrote those emotes out and so I was just testing

I was looking through the different templates you can use in Flash 8 and there were some for PDA's, so is it possible to do it without having to use another program?

Or is that just wishful thinking haha

You can use the PDA templates; however I'm not sure if it'll support external files.

That's research that you'll have to do.

I think that without using a 3rd party tool you have to have the Flash Player installed on the device and then open the SWF through it...although i'm not 100% positive about that. The 3rd party tools are great...is Zinc the only one right now for Pocket apps?

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.
