Flash won't play in odd places
I've created and published a Flash file for Flash 6 player. I opened it up on my local machine and everything works perfectly.
I put it on the test server, and when I open it there, it doesn't play at all. It just opens and displays black. I put it on the live server, and it plays perfectly there, if I'm on a PC, but not on a Mac.
What's the deal? Why is my Flash game being so picky?

Do all of the computers have the Flash Player installed on them?

I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.

Yes, they play all the other available Flash files.
I was experimenting some more and I just stumbled across the cause of the problem. I moved the intro scene to the back and started into the game, and it worked fine (on the test server, anyway; I haven't tried it on the Mac yet, but I'm going to run with this for a bit for now).
So there's something wrong with the preloader or Intro scene.
I'll report back.

Okay, after only too much work, I figured out that I didn't have a linked Flash file (namely the preloader) in the same directory. It's been a while since I worked on this, and I forgot I did that.
For some reason, that doesn't matter to PCs on the web, but I guess Macs choke if it can't find the linked library information. Additionally, I don't know why it worked in a web page on one of my test servers and nowhere else.
In any case, it's all working now. Thanks for your help.
