Onmouseover Effects Possible?
Is there a simple way within KoolMoves' menus/tools that I can make the motion script applied onmouseover instead of when the frame loads?
I have nav links that are buttons (and the first one converted to a movie clip so I could apply a motion script at all).
Please check out this workup example to see exactly what I mean.
Thanks in advance,
John Woz

I saw your site but I'm confused as to what you're talking about. What motion script are you trying to apply to your menu buttons? Buttons are probably the easiest thing to create in KM.
All I get when I hover over the first button is a color change. Is that what you're trying to do? If so, that's really simple to do without creating separate movie clips.

To clarify
I am aware that buttons are easy to make in KoolMoves, that is one reason why I like it.
Anyway - just like I said - I want the hover state to be animated like the first link does onload. (I don't want it to run onload at all - just onhover - I am just showing an example of one of the motion scripts that seemed acceptable for the "effect" I am shooting for). You cannot apply motion scripts to buttons as far as I know - that is why I turned it into a movie clip - not that I just wanted to do that for no good reason).
So when you hover you would see the motionscript - in addition to the hover state being green.

one way to achieve this effect
one way to do it:
make your button in a movieclip as you have done.
1st two frames ( of mc ) set duration to "0" frames with a stop action on the second frame.
then place a transparent shape ( as an additional button ) over your button ( inside the movieclip ) with a goto keyframe action ( on press - or however you choose ) to get to the next frame - which would then contain whatever animation you would wish to make.
remember to place a stop action ( on the last frame )( and a goto action back to frame 1 ) at the end to "reset" your button once the user rolls off the button with the mouse.

Yeah you can download just the FLV is you have a flv viewer just look in the directory http://bretlanius.com/flash and look for the flv's the html is the same name as the flv and the player swf is usally the same name with _player appended.
