    Scroll Box Help.

Hi. I am new to this forum. I am also farely new to using a full version of KoolMoves. I am using KoolMoves 4.5.2 .

Whenever I make a scroll box in KoolMoves it doesn't let me scroll that far down. It will either cut out on the .swf file I have put in it or it will make the .swf file strange looking.

    Here is my site:

www.votariyouth.com/index2.html (made the link skip the intro for you.)

I have also attached a zip file with just the .fun file. So the .swf file needed for the scroll box is not in there. The pictures are also not there so it would be white there. (appearantly)

All I want to do is make the box scroll down. For the articles I have up on the site (go to About Us......Articles.....and click on the article you want to view.) I have had to alter the swf in a way I didnt want to or make it scroll to the side instead of down. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

The flash6 version works fine for images but detecting the dimensions of an external swf is problematic. If you don't have a problem with flash8, use the flash8 version of the contentpane. The internal code of it is better and it is capable of more content types compared to the flash6 version.

I'm sorry, I didn't look at you post close enough.
You mentioned using 4.5.2 and that doesn't have flash8 components.
What you can do with 4.5.2 is make the things you want to scroll an image. What also might work is put a rectangle that covers exactly the whole stage as a background for the movie you are loading into the scroll box (the one containing the poem).

If you have bought KM after March 1, 2005 you should upgrade to the latest version (5.1.8).

Normally users get an upgrade notification by e-mail.
I think the best you can do is contact Bob ( [email protected] ) and ask him.
