My apologies to Flashkit

I came here looking for some help on a project and never thought that the community would be so close knit. I had a major problem with a design firm that apparently is friendly with many of you. The best I can say is that things are always different when you are a client with tens of thousands of dollars involved. I should not however have aired that situation here and I do apologize.

I've learned many valuable lessons in my recent dealings though, that is for certain.

AxiomFlash, you are still the man. Been a long time since we have talked. I sent you an email. Have you graduated yet? When are you designing my first house?

As for the rest of you. I don't know many people here and it seems post count means the world to some people. In my previous thread I linked to businesses that I own as a result of being questioned. One just happened to be an adult site. If I owned a bar I would have linked to that. I own websites, it's hard to prove that without "plugging" them..know what I mean?

In any case, I've been able to find help through these forums and I wanted to say thanks. Flashkit has always been a cool site and I actually have a couple of accounts from the past 6 years. Axiom and I used to throw stuff up here all the time when he was still in highschool.

Why wouldnt it? Post count is directly related to how much of a man you are! I post at least 10 times before my morning coffee just to reaffirm that I am "the man".

It's really just not fair to leave an accusation like that up to be spidered by search engines when there is no proof of any wrong doing offered and really, even if there was, this isn't the place to air it.

What proof I have doesn't matter at this point. I thought about compiling it all into a zip and posting it and realized it would be a waste of my time and it would just create a huge amount of drama here. If I wanted to take things further I could have. I chose not to because I just don't have the time. What's done is done.

The site has since been completed and I'm now trying to sell it. It's actually a pretty nice site. I just have no use for it anymore since I re-started the project from scratch and it is now what I linked in the other thread.

It's not a plug, the site is just sitting there empty. You are welcome to look at it if you are curious. It looks nice. Solid flash work on the front end.

Let's now forget about the previous thread and move on. There is no point in bringing it up any further. I'm not here to make enemies. I like flash and love to see what you guys can do. Sometimes I may have projects where I am looking to hire a flash designer as was the case yesterday. I'm easy to get along with and I always pay. Just don't lie to me, do the job you say you can do in the timeframe you say you can do it and that's about it. I don't ask for much. Just a job well done on time with no bull****.

Ok. That's all cool. I see that you have a few people interested in what you posted in the Freelance section.

But as it stands, you might want to rethink that whole "posting it" because that's... aw to hell with being diplomatic.

Just don't do it here. Please. I'll keep my eye out for your future posts... I don't do Flash, not even in the least bit outside of my own site(s) - which are never finished anyway, but who knows. Maybe you'll need a Photoshop artist

But seriously, don't air your dirty laundry here at Flashkit. It's nothing to do with preference with whomever, we just don't allow it.
