Confused on which is better?
This morning in Yuma, Az

the first shot has richer color, but not as wide of a spectrum.
the second one has more actual colors (purple clouds, whitish sky), but appears washed out.
personally, i like the first.
Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

i like both. but i agree with the others- number one, because of the richness of the colours.

same thing, sometimes it helps if you improve on mother nature 
I do color filters to most of my sky shots too

Thanks everyone for the comments.. I liked the first one myself.. I did some levels in PS on the second. Nothing much.
Its easy to get good sunrise and sunsets out here in the desert.

what's odd is i bet the sky actually looked more like #2 when standing there...

I like number two. The warm colors in the first one a really nice as well but the second one seems more relaxing in to me and not a harsh. 1st > orange > reminds me of fire > harsh still nice though.

I wanted to say one but didn't want to seem like I was just going along with the crowd.

Second is my favourite, I find the first one a little too flat. I would like to see the first one with a little more vignetteing in the sky to darken down the top third to the same density as the first to keep the eye travelling around the middle.
