    100+ DVD Cases

    So I bought a Sony 400 dvd changer. Now I have well over 100 maybe closer to 200 empty dvd cases. What should I do with these things?

    They are just sitting here in a box... alot of kids and family titles... just trash them?

    Come to think of it, I have a few playstation boxes too as I keep the discs in a book.

    What should I do?

    Sell the on Ebay, or buy recordable and copy all your VHS stuff to DVD and use the cases.

    make a mold of something in your house using clay, and then melt down the plastic and pour it into your mold and make an object that looks just like the object... say a Playstation 2 or Gamecube.

    then one day, when the kids are acting up pretty badly, take the PS2 and hide it. call them to come outside, and then say "since you're not acting right, I've decided to start target practice with the things you love starting with this..." BLAMMO shoot the mockup PS2... "any questions? now, clean your rooms..."

    and see them scramble to clean up their rooms and probably hide their other stuff. in silence. enjoy the silence.

    you sound like my wife,

    Because I am lazy. If my kids want to watch a movie now I just flip through the selections on the screen instead of going through 100+ dvd cases. I was sick of these bulky dvd cases stacked around the entertainment center.... looking for movies, etc...

    makes sense to me. just store them in the dvd player and get rid of the cases.

    It cost $400.

    Good suggestions everyone. Can you really melt down plastic?

    I was thinking of using them for Jewel cases for my own stuff, but that would be wierd. Give a client their graphics material in a Barney case

    I might try the ebay thing with them, just as an experiment.

    Why not just keep them if you ever want to do something later down the road? Just keep them in that box and put them in the attic/basement.
