    Swf to gif converter...

    I'm sorry it this has been asked before but could someone tell me what you'd recommend as a good utility to convert swf to gif. I've been to download.com and there are several but I thought someone here might have a recommendation. Thanks!

    Why not simply publish as gif?

    File -> Publish Settings..
    My letters on the F1 key have faded, how are yours today?

    The person is confusing KoolMoves with some other tool.

    Use File > Export Movie > Capture movie frames and feed those frames into standard animated gif software. There are probably several good freeware products which you can try out at www.snapfiles.com.

    That functionality may be in your current version. I don't remember when screen capture based on capturing from the flash player was introduced.

    Are you talking about animated gif or single frame gif? Saving as an animated gif doesn't make sense because there are freeware apps which do that. Each big piece of functionality I add shoves the price of the product higher and higher which causes marketing problems.

    I understand. The original question was any suggestions for freeware apps or inexpensive apps to convert to an animated GIF. I know there are a bunch having been to download.com but I was wondering if anybody had used one they liked. Believe me your program is great and even a novice nitwit like me can get a couple of decent things done with it. By all means keep the price low. Low price-big results is a great concept! Thanks!

    Hi Bob, point taken, don't add more if the price is gona go sky high plus there is freeware so its not an issue haha.

    Ive heard 'Ulead GIF Animator' or 'Bannershop GIF Animator' are worth checking out, although I havnt used them myself, this thread has reminded me to go check them out so here I go
