looked through your website and must say i was impressed. I'm up for a quick battle, a few vollies each? Usually you lay down some rules, such as number of vollies, acceptable image dimensions, ect.

All the normal names were taken.
Ron Paul was right.

I'm realizing on most screens you probably can't see the text, considering I could see it at 3am on my LCD, but can't even see it on my LCD now that there's light out

It says GhostMachine, I just had to look at my LCD from above. Nice serve Flash.
Yeah, being not dead is nice. The half dead part is less than desirable though. Very ironic to me... that's actually a picture of me in the Ghost Machine picture too... I will say no more...
I got my RCIII volley out of the way, so I'll hit this up some evening soonish. For now, a few comments:
"I know it's not alright to use copyrighted pictures, but how about characters that are copyrighted that you've drawn?"
Do you mean a copyrighted image that you've redrawn yourself? This is just a battle, so I won't say too much besides commercially that wouldn't be acceptable. However, if you mean it's your own creation that you've copyrighted(well really, if it's your own creation it *is* your copyright by default), sure, you can do whatever you want with it.
Your volley... it strikes me as a little incomplete. The concept is clever enough, but it still confuses me a bit... maybe it's the mixture of the cleancut with photoism that throws me off... For instance, the depth of field is a nice touch, but it seems odd to me since the subjects are pixel guys, and then the washers are kind of a sudden jump back to photo-realism again. On the other hand, if I was trying to execute the same concept(pacman ghosts) I would have no idea where to begin! I might not normally give such straightforward crits but I know you have some serious creativity in you. Crits on my own stuff too... I know I lack creativity...
At any rate, I will get my second volley to you soonish. Now I need to go to bed!
Thanks for the compliments and the crits. I most of the time don't make a finished picutre, I usually just make them until I know I can make the rest. I'm excited to do battles here to make finished pics and get practice doing that.
I was talking about copyrighted pictures of other people's. I wanted to know if it was alright to have pacman ghosts in my pic since they are copyrighted. I drew these ones from a real one.
