How do I impress a girl?

That's true enough for some, that's for sure. Everyone is going to seek some level of financial security. Money doesn't equal happiness though, and having money will often cause as many problems as not having it. Far better to just make sure the security factor is taken care of then you can concentrate on the more important aspects of garnering a woman's love and trust.

As for a good place to meet women, bars ain't it. Those tend to be just a meat market for punks and losers. Do you really want to take home everybody's favorite club toy to meet the parents?

A much better option is for you both to participate in an activity that you enjoy. Take a fencing class, do some yoga...lots of women in there, or get involved in something you care about. The people you meet will have similar interests and you have something to focus on other than the uncomfortable silence or the next thing you are going to say. If it's something you're good at, then that's just an opportunity to shine and make a favorable impression. Either way, you're doing something you enjoy and everybody wins.

And that's another thing...you can't expect a life to magically appear once you begin a relationship. You already want to have a life. Then each partner's input into the relationship adds to it's richness and variety rather than one overwhelming the other.
