Adobe just stated, that they wanna combine Flex with Ajax

(unfortunatly i only have a Kraut-News-Source: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/resul...87&words=AFLAX )

But where is the sense?
a) Flex 2.0 will not be Server generated.
b) The current XML.load() and i bet the successor in AS3 is already asynchronous.

In many projects i work with asynchronous XML loaded by XML.load...

What am i missing here?
Is the advantage maybe, that you can use Ajax Frameworks?
