If Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johanson, or Jennifer Love Hewitt aren't on the film, then it's worthless

I own it, and have watched it 5 times, so far. It is right in line with my thinking. If anyone is into Quantum Physics see this movie.
I have always said that the way you think creates the world you live in. Change your thinking.....change your life.

What I don't like about the movie is the way they mix science with pseudo science and make you think that it is real. They use a lot of fancy words, effects and authorities to make it sound believeable and true, but most of the new theories they propose and explain are just that, wild theories that have not been tested scientifically. For example, quantum physics is the study of physics as chance and probability, as they say, but its nothing like the probability of getting a 6 on a dice. There is a probability that an electron is at a specific point within the atom, but the probability that I am somewhere else is incredibly small (and i'm not talking about 0.00001%, its a hole lot smaller). There is no proof that an atom "pops in and out of existence" its only a theory, like the theory that a mirror does not reflect light when not beeing looked at. A particle can be in 2 places at once but that is due to refraction and interference of waves. There is no interference in the "example" they give with the boy being in 3 places at once. Many of the theories of quantum mechanics only apply to sub-atomic particles and cannot be applied to larger masses, like humans.
Sorry for the negative post EV

Not negative, just your point of thought. Yeah, the chick that turned out to be a medium really threw me at the end. I kinda had to roll my eyes at that, but then upon reviewing it and listening to what was being said, it just made more sense.
For a long time science has conceded that we/objects are not solid mass, but moving particles. That's how a microwave oven works, by disrupting the path of water particles and making them bump into one another.....thus causing friction and heat.
This "form" of thinking is merely stating that the brain, body, and mind (spirit, soul, whatever you believe it to be termed) are one unit that feeds off of the other. When the eyes (part of the body) sees something it registers in the brain, and causes a reaction (a feeling) in the consciousness. Now, the brain can recreate that "feeling" without ever seeing that something ever again, and the brain can't tell the difference.
Taking that a step further, when you start to "create" with your brain, and mind your body starts to follow suit. If you say you are sick, you probably are, or will be soon.....when I get "sick", which is very, very rare in my case, I do not let it stop me from my normal routine. I also will not vocalize the negative words "I am sick" or the like. It just bring it into fruition, and negative things are all too easy to create. (beware of the Dark Side... </Yoda>)
Can you mentally become a winner at say.....gambling? Not overnight, but explain the people that consistently win and make money gambling. There is something there.....something that should be thought about, investigated also.
I believe that you can make anything happen just by using the mind properly. And that is a faith, no science required.

I believe you can influence the body using the mind, kinda like placebo, but the way the movie presented it was kinda new-age "you need good energy" stuff and it did it using science, and that irritates me, because that has nothing to do with science. I don't know if it is possible to influence water by emotions, but I believe a scientific study has to be done on the subject before a documentary can be made that tries to explain it.
I don't think I can influence the events of my day by planning when I wake up, but I know that if you trie you might find that it did follow your plan. This is becasue we (to quote someone in the wizard of oz thread) "find patterns in chaos", like reading a horoscope.
