    Updating images/dependencies with Koolmoves

    Hi all!

I want to know what I need to do to update an image in Koolmoves that is used inside a shape after editing the image in say Photoshop.

I noticed that when I set the image, edit in in PS, and return to Koolmoves, the image hasn't updated. Then I access the properties, set the image property again by selecting the image again, and....well nothing, no change at all.

I have to either fiddle with Koolmoves, or I have to save the image as a new filename and then set the image property again for the shape.

Is there an easier way to update the dependencies in Koolmoves?

I see the problem you mean. I normally choose a different image...come back in....then go back and choose the edited original but that is a hassle.

    Mmmm. Thanks Chris.

I suppose it's because flash integrates its media into the project file, but I'm speaking under correction. Anycase, I'll have a scout about for an update button in Koolmoves!!!

There has to be a way! Thanks for the reply!

Had a quick look through the Koolmoves menus and searched the documentation, but there is certainly no sign of updating the dependencies.

    Crap.

you have to delete the bitmap from the object, exit KM and restart KM. Apparently it caches the images.

Add Photoshop to the list of Image Editors in File > Preferences > Image Editors. Use the edit image button associated the image fill screen. This approach will update image without closing koolmoves.
