    I've tried using MS Paint, dont know how to resize without losing proportions though.

    To resize in MS Paint go to Image>Resize and then choose a percentage. Type the same percentage in both boxes and you have a proportionatly sized image. As for a mouse pad, you could use a piece of cardboard or a binder....or a mouse pad....

    inspirion 9300 wuxga 1920x1200 did you crack the case and upgrade the video card and power supply? the main architecture limits you to nVidia 7800 gtx with optimized drivers.

    I prefer my screen resolution to be the highest possible. On my old P2 (or it might be a P3) computer... with a Voodoo 3dfx (i think) card... that can handle 1280*940 (??), and my laptop can handle a max of 1024*768.
