New Super Mario Bros. Website Updated

I got an e-mail today confirming that New Super Mario Bros. will in fact be launching on May 15th, and saying also that the website has been updated. If you'd like to download one of five wallpapers or see a new video of the English build of the game, head on over to the site. This week's video shows the numerous powerups that will be found in the game. It starts off by showing the super mushroom and goes through other items like the poison mushroom, blue shell, and the much-beloved flower. Nintendo will be updating with a new video each week.

* Access point searching! (currently stylus driven, button control will come later)
* Crash fixed when connection to an access point fails
* a load of fixes here and there
* PA_enableWifi() and its opposite are no longer required

Here's a list of known issues at the current time:

* Access point searching currently takes ip settings from the first profile.
* The example App is rubbish!
* There is currently no way to edit settings.
* Doesn't support DHCP,TCP,WEP,WPA or firmware saving.
* You still need to manually change the destip on the example in main.c in order for udp_test to receive messages.
* type exit to exit the test app (the keyboard that launches after connecting).
* Main.c is where your code should go (i will integrate it all and separate the example later).
* you must use static ip, no WEP and have firmware settings.

i don't know if it's really true but i heard a rumor that
it will allow you to store 10 full length movies on your DS. And maybe if you want to get an order in quickly, Yes Asia are currently offering the bundle for just $180 + P&P, with an expected shipping date of May 2006.

hey there,
i appreciate that you seem motivated to share game news here and we´re ok with having a console game rant here in between,too,but at the core this is a flash game development forum so don´post a series of threads on console games at the same day again. For now i´ve merged your threads and people can talk about those things here in this one if they want.
Regarding the several topics:
-Looking forward to new super mario ds,too and liked the video on their website a lot
(Mario games are always a good source of inspiration for flash games,too )
-regarding ds homebrew stuff i´m not informed at all about it
-regarding hard drive will probably get that one,too
-regarding king of fighters i don´t really care to be honest,not the type of game i normally get for ds
