perfect mp3 size for streaming?
Hello again, does anyone know what would be the best mp3 file size or kbps for a tune to come on fairly quickly but still have an 'ok' sound quality? I'm thinking about the streaming side of things. Is it worth putting a tune on a website? I was just thinking it may just annoy people, especially with the music I do haha

I reccomend you make the music something that the user selects to play.

I use 56kbs (stereo) using mp3pro encoder..........gives decent quality...ie non of that weird highly compressed effect (cant think of a name for it) and near enough to dial up speeds to be ok.

Relaxing
I have tried 56 but used CDEX to convert. You could make a loop from a wav also. To annoy people, don't put an off button on your site. To not annoy people put a little icon that lets you turn the sound on and off.
Any programming language is at its best before it is implemented and used.
