losing effects

I create a movie and export it as a swf file. Then I import it into Flash 8 either as a movie clip or directly onto stage. I loose the effects created with Kool Moves.

Try loading in via LoadMovie

If I "Open the file" and it plays in the player the effects are still there.

I have tried import to stage and import to library. Lost effects.

Can't import as video because swf is not a video format.

Again I say why not use loadMovie?

I'm not at my main Computer and cannot test loading movie via import but it should work.

Do you have flash 8? I have tried every option and it doesn't work.
