Quick question about making a local guest book

    Hi,
I have a number of informational kiosks all over the world. Recently, I've been asked to add a guest book to the kiosks, so the client can gather email addresses from the end users. The kiosk computers are all over the place, so I'm not going to be able to add much of anything to them. I would like to create a form and have that information stored in a local database or text file on that computer. There is no LAN connection for these computers.

Is it possible to make a totally local guest book database within Flash? I'm using Flash 8.

    Thanks

    Hi,

you could use a local sharedobject for storage .... keep in mind that the default storage allocation is just 100 kb, so you probably need to reconfigure that setting remotely
