    hi
im working on a webpage for a client and he wants me to make the sky in this picture http://www.rocketinnovations.ca/1.jpg blue insted of that dull white. my question is what is the best way to do this? i tried using the wand to grab every bit of white between the trees and then applying a layer style but i didnt turn out to great. any suggestions???

Here ya go. If you desperately need a different sky or higher quality PM with your email address and I can send you the .PSD. Otherwise, this has been optimized so that it's about half the file size of the original. I can understand that your client wants a clear picture, but 500k for one image is a bit on the heavy side.

I did this by going to Select>Color Range and using the Eyedropper on the white part of the sky. Then I used the Lasso Tool to get rid of the parts of the selection that I didn't want. This selection was turned into a Layer Mask and a different sky was placed in a layer beneath it. Various adjustments were made and the result is pictured below.

Lol, it could use a bit more work before I would call it a masterpiece, but it didn't turn out too bad for a quickie.
