advice on a preloader

Im trying to preload a flash that is pretty heavy with many tiny attached sounds, when I try to preload it, I guess the flash loads all the data of the attached sounds library before it enters the first frame of my flash's preloader making it pretty obselete, so my question is, how do I preload this?

Place the sound in the timeline as event sound and do the preloading work
