*Pops a bottle of seltzer water.* Congratulations! Going to set aside a quiet evening for the two of you, tonight? Maybe turn the brightness on your monitor down reaaallllll low and play some soft music... something sexy while your site slips out of those embed tags and into something a little naughtier?

I can't help but notice your design/colour scheme is very similar, almost freakishly, to Theory7.com.

Back in the day, their website was what got me into Flash...

Anyway, well done on the 4 years.

    [EDIT]

Yeah, just read the about section on your site... silly me.

So... set a date, charge people, and let's get ready to rumble?

I got five bucks on the bruiser in the blue corner from Glasgow.

btw, thanks for confirming in this thread where you work... I caught a case of deja vu (add accent marks where they belong, I'm being lazy, it's late... bleh) when I hit the site.

    your site looks familiar.
First time you have seen my site?
Pretty sure you have helped me a few times in past.
Insperation was drawn from the likes of egomedia/7 theory7
i am do designer and i am the first to admit that.
i am more intrested in the technical side flash+php+mysql.

Oh, don't get me wrong. The site... nice. Just couldn't put it in my head from where I had seen something like that. And you confirmed it... earlier in the thread. Doesn't mean too much, just couldn't put it in my head why it was familiar, just knew it was.

First time I've seen the site? Perhaps in a while. But I'm so forgetful, I'm starting to forget what I've seen, haven't seen, and even my real name a lot of the times.

Funny... I'm a "designer", ex-programmer (applications mostly) and I have no interest in the technical side of flash-php-mysql-xml any longer. Last 7 years killed that for me, honestly. Anyway... 'tis good. Site, everything...

    Just wanna make pretty pictures.

I'm a professional bum now. Seriously...

What's going on with FK? Not too much... still a bit rigid, same ol' in some areas, a lot of new faces, advertisements help pay for the multiple terabyte stream o' data per month for this site, a few tweaks here and there to make the FK experience faster than the old days when it was all PERL based.

Any time i come on here there is some issue with the forum.
A while back it was 404 errors and page time outs.
Then there is the post/post reply window. You start to type and the page suddenly goes back or forward because the txt field has lost it's focus.
Now i see missing images all over the place. The post window is unreal.
i understand the ad's but they are very intrusive on the forum.
These issue's make for an unhappy experince on FK and thats why i dont come on here all that much now.

I just thought i would come on here and say hi and thanks for all the help in the past years since this is the first flash forum i registered on.
I'm a professional bum now. Seriously...
And i bet it pays well to
I could do with dropping freelance and getting a more perminent roll.

webdreamer - you use firefox? Install the RIP extension and FK is cleaner than most sites.

hmmm, 404's haven't been around here in ages. There was the update that happened like... 2 years ago, but it was handled quite well.

Then it started getting hit heavily with Google spiders, but Starkey, the prior admin and Byron (server guy) really locked that down. The new admins - Planet and JPnyc - are pretty much on top of things... but nothing crazy lately.

You're having problems with images... I've not had that problem ever... but hit the Feedback Forum, I think that some "fix" exists there for the people that had that problem.

As far as the ads... "there are ways..."
