Seamless Tickertape
I'm a newbie to Koolmoves, played with lite for a few weeks and recently bought the full version, since I know we're going to need to offer flash as an option for our web customers.
One of our current and larger customers wants a specific type of scrolling image - I assume this page is done with Macromedia but I figured there's a way to create a similar effect in KM:

I downloaded Chris Seahorn's continuous scrolling backgrounds .fun file on KoolExchange.com, but still don't understand how to create the effects on my own file. I can do layers for the overlaid portion, no problem -- it is the scrolling action script I can't figure out.
I have KM 5.5.0 - no frills at this point except the initial library downloaded with the purchase. I don't know enough about KM yet to know if there are plugins and add-ons I need to do some of the specifics.
Would appreciate any help you can offer. TIA!

Lets say you wanted to build one. What images would you use and how many?
When you decide...zip them up and PM me a link to the zip 
Understand, whatever I make you will be submitted for everyone...that ok?
(I have a funny feeling I'm about to break my "No more submissions" promise )

There is a way Make a movie clip add a shapes to it or images then make those a nother movie clip so you have a movie clip in another movie clip
then make a new frame and copy and paste the 2nd movie clip and paste a movie clip next to that 1 of the stage but next to the mc then scroll it by adding another frame i will show you later i will add a swf file on my kmexample site if u still dont know what to do.

Thanks - there were a couple of things I thought about - and in fact, you gave me an idea I think I'd like to incorporate into another site I'm working on, lol.
I can do HTML and CSS and PHP, am the studio techie and network admin... but flash is a whole new monster to me.

Actually since this is a support forum I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's asked a similar question, lol.

Actually...I think this is new. I did a website that has a scroller like this when I first bought KM and some might remember. This is a twist on that.
OK. I'm assuming this is for customers. If we want them to be able to change pictures but do not want you to have to always edit a fun file and do not want to have to require a backend (php, cgi,etc).......
This will let you (or them) place 19 images (your highest number was 19 so I used that. ) that are all 133x100 in size (again...as yours were so it's forced since I based the math on 19 images x 133 pixels wide each) in the same folder as the movie and it will read the images in dynamically. Some of my images in the preview are duplicates..these I copied from other numbers to fill in three missing images in your numbered sequence.....I'm lazy at heart. As long as the movie is in the same folder with the numbered pictures the folder itself can be anywhere...even from a hard drive without internet.
EDIT: Preview removed, user is all set
It will still need you to tweak it depending on where in your templates you place it but this is enough to get you understanding scrollers, dynamic images that do not require server side files and masks all at the same time.If this meets your needs, I'll submit.

i found a scrolling tutoral for u to help you i was looking specialy for u because i dident have much time 2 make 1 like my platform game that u have proberly seen but this tutoral is a alto scroller made for movies as well as games Click here to view this tutoral This is explained better than i can explain to you and there is an example as well i hope this helps you out.
