    Updating the Embedded Flash Player

    Flash 8 has Flash Player 8 embedded in it. Flash Player 8 has some bugs, and Flash Player 9 just works better, frankly, so I've upgraded my Player to 9.

    But, Flash 8 (the authoring environment) still uses Flash Player 8. Is there a way that I can upgrade the Player that's embedded in the authoring environment?

    You can publish as Flash 9 and set to AS2.
