There is a still image movie clip on frame 1 and the play button starts playing the timeline so once frame 2 is reached the still is no longer an issue. I was able to use this video in my existing player but another video I have does not play properly in this FLA. If I import and embed the WMV I get nothing but a white screen. If I convert the wmv to an FLV and drag it to the timeline, the music portion of the audio track is too loud and makes the voice audio difficult to hear. This may be because of the codec used for this video.

Here is the difficult video in the Flash 8 MediaPlayback component being called via http: Because the component is on frame1 I can't have a still movie clip on frame1. The still you see is just the still in the beginning of the video.

I know the audio is creeping out of synch on the first example, I have had this problem before and the solution was to get an MPG from the client instead.
