[F8] Continous Sounds Not As Easy As U Think
I'm working on a project called Pianee
The project involves a section of the piano, basically the Middle C to B , with the minors, so that's 12 sounds I need to import. I've made the movieclips which are keys and now I need as to cut off the current Sound being played as the user rollout of the MC. The same applies to continuing the sound being played.
IN A MORE SIMPLE LANGUAGE:
I imported 12 sounds and their corresponding keys on the piano, and made the MCs which group together to form the piano
Now I'm stuck on continuing the sound / and or shutting off the sound when the user rollOuts of the MC.
or is it a better effect to just use the 2 second loops once? because the sound I recorded went from loud to middle volume, and looping that could cause a headache.
Thanks

I would have made the keys as buttons, then just put the sound in the over frame. Set the Sync to Event.

Assuming you mean it's sounding bad in your flash movie, it may sound bad because all the sound files are using the default imported settings, which I think gives your sound files a 16 kbps bit rate which is pretty bad quality. I'd suggest setting a default setting for your entire movie, you can do this by going to File -> Publish Settings go down to the bottom and find where it lists the settings for Audio stream and Audio event, then press the Set button, you can pick your own settings if you like, but I always set Bit rate to 128 kbps and Quality to Best. After you set the values go back to the Publish Settings and check the Override sound settings box, then hit ok and try compiling your movie and see how it sounds. good luck
*Note: Doing this may dramatically increase the size of your final flash movie

Thanks but That is not what I meant, I musta been talking with a lot of gramma errors.
I meant the EFFECT of the SOUND used is very BAD. no I used like 128kbps ones. Its just it sounds bad. not the sound is bad..
