My mouse seems to lag or freeze every time I launch an application after reformatting my hard drive, or move big files folder to different folder or even just surfing the net switching pages to pages. I was wondering if this has something to do with missing drivers. I believe I have reinstalled all the basic drivers I need such as video and audio drivers, but what could be the possible cause my new reformatted machine tend to lag or freeze for 5 to 45 seconds. I've never seen like these before. It's getting annoying.

Mice need drivers? Ive always found them to be plug in play.

Well, standard mice with two / three buttons are plug and play. USB mice on older machines need drivers as well as mice with special feature buttons.

I was going to suggest that, but first he might want to make sure muscles.dll is installed. That may be why the mouse has trouble moving large files.
