    my file wont open

    this is a really weird problem... I had been working on a game for a while... its been maybe three months since I looked at it, and now all of a sudden it no longer will open. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with my file?! When I try to open it says unexpected file format...

    have you recently switched versions of flash? if you were working on it with 8 or something and tried to open it with an older flash like mx or 5 or something, it won't work.

    EDIT: i just opened it with flash 8 perfectly...

    only have mx 2004 but if someone with the newest version can check maybe i did something really weird... does the file open in your version of flash?

    The FLA opened in Flash 8 no problem.
