    wmode=transparent with overflow:hidden doesn't work on macs

    overflow:hidden doesn't seem to work in mac safari or mac firefox.
    i dropped the wmode="transparent" attribute in the embed tag for the flash and it fixed the problem on PCs. here is an example:

    any ideas?

    wmode transparent may not work for pc users either.

    IE7 has abandoned transparency seeing it as a "security concern"

    wmode transparent is quickly becoming a thing of the past much like chromeless.

    any ideas on how to fix this problem then?
    i'm trying to get the overflow hidden to work correctly with flash content.
