Testing Validation
When publishing HTML files Flash MX Professional includes some Java validation. But how do you know it works. A friend of mine I created something for said it doesn't he can't see the JPEG I put up there if somebody doesn't have Flash.
Is there an easy way of disabling Flash to test your validation?

up to my .as in code
If you go to the Adobe website, in the section to download the current players is the option to uninstall your current one. This is so users who are testing detection scripts can test as a userwithout flash plugin installed.

the way i test validation is to set the version thats required to higher than i have. so for example, i have flash player v9, id tell it to ask for v10. which would act like i dont have it. now i dont know exactly how the flash mx pro validation works, but ive worked with the swfobject validation and its pretty straight forward for setting the version required.
