Searching for author of Flash Avatar Creator

I discovered a flash avatar creator that allows you to mix and match facial features to create an anime-style cartoony avatar.

    http://www.scionlife.com/misc/avatars.swf

I copied it to my server, that is not the original location. The originating URL seems to be just another spot someone upped the SWF file.

Does anyone know the author of this application? I would like to get in touch with them if possible. Thanks.

    Darren

Wow, this is a thread from the dead!

Nope, never could find the person that created that. Oh well.

Why not just contact the a forum mod from scionlife.com ? I'm sure someone can point you to who created it.

I _AM_ the scionlife.com founder/moderator. I'm sure that my forum username confused you. (grin) I don't know who created it... I just hosted it on my site so that my members could use it and so others could access it.

Thanks to both of you. (Sorry to raise the dead ;-)
What I am after really is a good simple to use avatar generator for our kids game project.
Do you know any good flash examples / snippets or templates (pref. AS3) for this ?

    All the best,
    Bjorn

I have seen it before. Looked into my bookmarks, couldn't find it. However google gave me a few hits: http://serghei.net/humor/swf/avatars.swf, http://www.dookyweb.com/avatars.swf redirecting to http://www.buscarmessenger.com/avatars.swf

buscarmessenger.com may be able to inform you on the origin of this avatar creator as they have it advertised in one of their html page: http://www.buscarmessenger.com/avatars.html

In the avatar creator category, a very nice version is "drole de tete" (title in French, website in English): http://www.droledetete.com/
