Not sure which banner you mean? If you mean the one at the top, I don't see any ads there.
The ones down the right hand side open ok for me. I noticed some use pop-ups. Perhaps the user has their pop-up blocker switched on?
THank you for the help but are you so kind to give me the correct code for setting it up on my site.
I am confused of so much code, apparently I am using satay for w3c flash validation and that might be the problem
here is the code
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.bestofcalifornia.info/images/stories/bannerfront.swf" height="300" width="400">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.bestofcalifornia.info/images/stories/bannerfront.swf" />
<p>You need the Flash plugin.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Download Macromedia Flash Player</a></p>
</object>
I have changed the code back to default flash code and still some complain that some ads do not work for them in firefox, but in internet explorer everything is fine
I don't know how to make it any more clear.
If you want your sites to work in IE, you have to use the flashobject, or swfobject script. These have been available for over a year now and everyone should be using them.
They are not complicated at all. Go to that site, download the package, install it. Now you have a new option in your publish settings for "flash object". This is how you publish all your files now. It's makes a different code that you put in your pages. The code is smaller, works better and is much cleaner than the <object...embed method.
Trust me when I say, "you have to use this" or your sites will not work.
Just download the package and install it. You'll see.
