Strange Laws
Most of you will probably OLD any attempt at posting funny American laws, which is why I thought it was time to post strange and funny laws from other countries. I'll start with my home country, Norway:
In Norway the VAT on groceries are lower than on food bought in restaurants. This means that eating at MacDonald's is more expensive than buying the food and bringing it with you. It also means that eating indoors is more expensive than eating outdoors.
Anyone else have any strange or funny laws?

You're not allowed to dance at christmas, easter and a few other holy days in Switzerland. However, it became a tradition to organize small "ilegal" parties on those dates.

if your car collides with a motorcycle, you (driving the car) are automatically assumed at fault for carelessness.

No liquor ad. or hoarding in India. Though the smart a$$ ad. agencies do the work around. For example, if there's an XYZ label rum, then, they will have ads. showing the name 'XYZ' associated with mineral water, apple juice, soda, musical nights and what not.
And Jujumon, It happens here too......rather if I remember correctly, the same thing happenned with my mom 7-8 years back. Gah...I don't even wanna think about that one...
